A little about us and our B&B
As avid travelers, we first discovered the bed & breakfast concept in Canada in 1996 and immediately fell in love with it. It is the perfect way to explore different cultures while traveling the world. What we particularly enjoy is the warm and personal contact with hosts, as well as their valuable advice and suggestions. Since then, we have traveled exclusively this way, and after years of experience, we created our own B&B, with the concept of "an invitation to travel" and an immersion into the African and Australian continents.
"Groot Genoegen" means "Great Pleasure" and is the name of a South African wine we discovered during a visit to a vineyard in Cape Town.
Each room has its own theme related to some of our past adventures. The "Africa" room references this magnificent continent with which we have a special connection. We named the second room "Australia" because we had the chance to explore this beautiful country as our daughter currently lives there.
